Year 2002 Tournaments

WOODVILLE -- February 22, 2002 -- Well our second tournament was the same as the first. We lost. We like the Woodville hospitality and all but we just can't beat the teams they invite. I'm sure teams like Barney Googles eat rusty nails, steel bolts and washers and wash it down with a quart of 10W-30 oil for their pre-game snack. As one of our younger players said, "..if I could catch up to one of those guys, I'd trip'em..." We lost 2 and won 1. It wasn't a memorable weekend (except we got to watch Team Canada beat the USA in Olympic hockey!).

PICKERING -- February 8, 2002 -- This was our first tournament for this year so we let the other guys win. Oh, we won the one game we wanted too but other than that it was not a good show.
